This past week, members of our National Geographic Learning team attended the International Career Development Conference hosted by DECA Inc., an international organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. The conference brought together over 23,000 high school students, teacher-advisors, business professionals and alumni to compete in various business-related events, attend workshops and network with industry professionals. Molly Kirk, Marketing Coordinator, shared “our team had an amazing time connecting with CTE teachers and decision-makers on day one of the conference. Day two was filled with excitement as we enjoyed engaging with attendees in our booth and later had a memorable evening at Disney's California Adventure for ‘DECA Night.’ Day three was particularly special as we celebrated students' achievements and proudly awarded our prestigious National Geographic Learning | Cengage Scholarship to two exceptional individuals. Lastly, we were honored to be recognized for our continuous support of DECA's mission over the past five years. CTE teachers truly are remarkable educators!” Check out photos from the event! #ngl #studentsuccess #CTE
